LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON: SHANE WARNE'S SON TAKES ACTION ON HAIR LOSS AT 27 BY PARTNERING WITH ADVANCED HAIR STUDIO

Announcement posted by Markson Sparks! 14 Oct 2026

# Media Interviews by Appointment this Monday 19 October at AHS, 15-17 Lansdowne St, East Melbournefrom 9am.

# Jackson Warne will be sharing his journey with hair restoration undertaken by his late father

# Hair loss is often believed to skip a generation; however, this is not the case and attributable to complex genetics

More than 15 years after his father openly addressed his own hair-loss journey, Jackson Warne is confronting the same hereditary challenge and doing something about it early by partnering with Advanced Hair Studio - the same clinic that famously restored his late father's hair.

The 27-year-old has begun treatment for his hair loss, acknowledging the strong genetic link that has affected generations of Australian men.

For Jackson, the decision was not simply about appearance, it was also about recognising the signs early and taking proactive action before the issue progressed further.

"My dad's experience meant I was always aware that hair loss could be something I'd face as well," Jackson said.

"When I started noticing changes myself, I wanted to be proactive rather than wait until it became a bigger problem. Hair loss can really affect confidence, and if there's something you can do about it early to prevent it, why wouldn't you?"

The generalised belief is that hair loss skips a generation, but this is not the case. Hereditary hair loss is influenced by dozens of different genes, not just a single "baldness gene".

According to Advanced Hair Studio, hereditary hair loss remains one of the most common concerns among Australian men, yet many delay seeking advice or treatment until significant hair loss has already occurred.

Advanced Hair Studio Founder Carl Howell said Jackson's willingness to openly discuss his experience would help normalise an issue affecting millions of men.

"Hair loss is often treated as something men should simply accept, but it can have a significant impact on self-esteem and confidence, let alone appearance," he said.

Jackson will be documenting his experience with Advanced Hair Studio, providing a transparent look at his treatment and results over time.

"I'm happy to share the process because I know there are plenty of young guys my age going through the same thing," Jackson said.

"If talking about it encourages someone else to get advice or take action earlier, then that's a positive outcome."

For Advanced Hair Studio, Jackson's story highlights a simple but important message: genetics do play a major role in hair loss, however early intervention can make a meaningful difference.

Advanced Hair Studio also has an extensive hair restoration program for females, which in most cases, has nothing to do with male pattern baldness. The programs for women address hormonal-related hair loss and receive the highest level of enquiries to the clinics.
