PENRITH HIP HOP ARTIST SUTTLE RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT EP MY WAY

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, October 2026: Penrith hip hop artist Suttle will release his highly anticipated debut EP, MY WAY, across digital platforms on 24 October 2026, marking a major new chapter for one of Western Sydney's distinctive independent hip hop voices.

Known for sharp wordplay, creative punchlines and energetic live performances, Suttle has steadily built a catalogue that refuses to be boxed into a single sound.

Recent releases with DJ Begzy include Chug It Down (Remix), Throwaway Bars #1 (Remix), Nah Yeah Nah and Australia, with material released through Rah! Records. Chug It Down (Remix) was released in August 2025, while Australia followed in February 2026. rahrecords.bandcamp.com

Now, after more than 12 months in development, MY WAY brings those influences together in one body of work.

Created alongside DJ Begzy, Rah! Records and a number of surprise guest artists, the EP has been deliberately constructed so that every track carries its own identity.

Rather than following one fixed production style, MY WAY moves between boom bap, funk, contemporary hip hop and nu-metal influences, while Suttle's lyricism and personality remain the thread connecting the project.

The result is a debut that reflects exactly what its title suggests, an artist making music on his own terms.

"Every track has been made to have its own sound. I didn't want every song on the project to feel the same. MY WAY is about making the music I want to make and doing it the way I want to do it."

Suttle has also collaborated within Australia's underground hip hop community, including the 2025 track Matter of Fact with Sydney rapper Primitive, a collaboration described at release as combining tongue-in-cheek humour, wordplay and contrasting lyrical styles. Primitive

His identity as a Penrith artist runs strongly through his work.

Earlier in 2026, Suttle, whose name is James Suttle, also contributed a rap verse to the Penrith Panthers supporter anthem The Panther Army. The Western Weekender reported that the collaboration grew from Suttle approaching the creators at a Panthers supporters event and offering to contribute a verse. That connection to Western Sydney, combined with an increasingly broad musical palette, has helped shape MY WAY.

The project arrives after several years of singles, collaborations and live performances and is designed to show considerably more range than a traditional hip hop release.

For established listeners, MY WAY brings together the humour, energy, lyrical wordplay and genre experimentation that have characterised Suttle's releases to date.

For new listeners, it provides the clearest introduction yet to who Suttle is as an artist.

MY WAY will be released across major digital platforms on 24 October 2026.

A physical vinyl edition will follow, with copies expected approximately one to two weeks after the digital release.
