Announcement posted by Invigorate PR 20 Oct 2026
Mark Bouris, property development powerhouses GRAYA and NRL star turned entrepreneur Hudson Young headline the launch of DCMG Collective, with a McLaren supercar to be craned onto Australia's largest commercial superyacht for an extraordinary Sydney Harbour finale.
Two Australian entrepreneurs who spent five years building exclusive business connections for some of the world's biggest technology companies are now bringing that expertise home, launching a new business network designed to put ambitious Australian founders face to face with the people who have already achieved the success they are chasing. The response has been extraordinary.
The inaugural Built For More Mastermind, being held at Crown Sydney on Friday 23 October, sold out within minutes, with 270 tickets snapped up by business owners, entrepreneurs and founders from the trades, construction and property development sectors.
The event will host business owners whose businesses collectively generate approximately $1 billion in annual revenue.
Headlining the event is Australian businessman and Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management Chairman Mark Bouris, alongside brothers Andrew and Rob Gray, founders of acclaimed property development and construction business GRAYA, and Canberra Raiders star and Young Supplements founder Hudson Young.
The gathering marks the official launch of DCMG Collective, the brainchild of Australian entrepreneurs Nicholas Stavroulakis and Michael Galatoula, co-founders of global executive engagement business Dot Com Marketing Group (DCMG).
The pair are taking the expertise they developed creating highly curated executive meetings internationally and applying it to a new Australian business community, where founders can learn directly from people who have built successful companies, survived extraordinary setbacks and discovered what it really takes to succeed. The launch is only the beginning, with further exclusive gatherings already being planned.
From business failures and brutal lessons to extraordinary success
DCMG Collective co-founder Nicholas Stavroulakis said the concept was born from a frustration shared by thousands of Australian business owners who want genuine access to successful entrepreneurs rather than endless online advice from people whose credentials are difficult to verify.
"Five years ago, Michael and I went looking for a room like this and couldn't find one. We wanted to sit with people who were building real businesses, some at our stage and others ten steps ahead, and learn what actually worked, what went wrong and what they would do differently," Stavroulakis said.
"We weren't looking for another motivational speech or somebody telling us to hustle harder. We wanted access to people who had actually built something, lost sleep over decisions, made mistakes, taken risks and come out the other side.
"Those conversations are incredibly difficult to access, particularly when you're still building your business. So we decided to create the room we wished had existed when we started."
Stavroulakis said the immediate demand for the inaugural event demonstrated the appetite among Australian business owners for meaningful relationships and practical knowledge from people who have already walked the path.
"These are business owners who have paid to be in the room because they understand that one conversation, one introduction or one piece of hard-earned advice can change the direction of a business," he said.
"They want to hear about the deals that went wrong, the money that was lost, the decisions that almost destroyed a business and the persistence required to eventually get things right.
"Success looks impressive from the outside, but the real education is understanding what happened behind the scenes."
A billion-dollar room where everyone has built something
Unlike traditional business conferences, Built For More has been designed specifically for founders and owner-operators in trades, construction and property development.
The event will host business owners whose businesses collectively generate approximately $1 billion in annual revenue.
The event is being co-produced with Premier & Co., whose co-founders Joe Berriman and Dylan Nilsson will lead the conversations throughout the day.
DCMG Collective co-founder and Director of Global Partnerships Michael Galatoula said the event deliberately brings together entrepreneurs at different stages of growth, creating an environment where somebody running a $1 million business can sit beside someone running a $10 million or $50 million operation.
"Imagine being able to sit with somebody who has already built the business you dream of creating and ask them what they would never do again, what nearly sent them broke and what decisions changed everything," Galatoula said.
"That's enormously powerful because suddenly success stops being something you watch on social media and becomes something you can understand, question and learn from directly.
"We are bringing together people who have built extraordinary businesses, but we're not interested in simply celebrating their success. We want to uncover the setbacks, the mistakes, the decisions and the dogged perseverance that made that success possible."
A McLaren is being craned onto a superyacht and there's a message behind it
The event will culminate in an extraordinary VIP experience on Sydney Harbour, with a McLaren Artura Spider supercar being craned onto the foredeck of Mischief, Australia's largest commercial superyacht, for an exclusive dinner.
McLaren Sydney has joined the event as VIP Title Sponsor, with the spectacular vehicle lift scheduled for 9am on Friday ahead of the main event.
Following the Crown Sydney program, which concludes at 6pm, 30 VIP guests will join Mark Bouris, Andrew and Rob Gray, Hudson Young and the DCMG Collective and Premier & Co. teams aboard Mischief.
Galatoula said the supercar and superyacht experience is designed to provide a powerful visual representation of what can be achieved when ambition is matched by vision, action, intention and relentless perseverance.
"People will see a McLaren being lifted onto one of the most extraordinary yachts on Sydney Harbour, but what we want them to think about is everything that happens before somebody reaches that level of success," Galatoula said.
"Nobody wakes up one morning and suddenly has a successful business. Behind the impressive cars, the beautiful properties and the financial achievements are years of difficult decisions, sacrifices, setbacks, risks and moments when walking away would have been easier.
"The car is the spectacle, but the real story is the journey. We want people to understand that success is built through what you do consistently, particularly when things aren't going your way."
The business network Australia's founders couldn't find
The launch of DCMG Collective follows five years of international growth for parent business DCMG, which specialises in creating carefully curated executive roundtables for major technology companies.
DCMG has delivered executive engagements across more than 15 countries, connecting senior decision makers through intimate, highly targeted meetings.
Stavroulakis said the new Collective brand takes that expertise into a different market with a different purpose.
"With DCMG, we've spent five years becoming exceptionally good at building the right room for somebody else. Now we're using everything we've learned to build the right room for Australian founders and business owners," he said.
"The difference is that this isn't about filling a conference hall with thousands of people. It's about carefully selecting the right people, creating genuine conversations and giving business owners access to relationships they wouldn't ordinarily have.
"Social media has made business advice almost limitless, but genuine access to successful people is still incredibly rare.
"We believe proximity matters. Being able to sit across from somebody who has already done what you want to do can be worth more than years of consuming business content online."
More exclusive gatherings already being planned
Following the response to the Sydney launch, DCMG Collective is preparing further mastermind events and exclusive business gatherings designed to connect Australian entrepreneurs with experienced founders and industry leaders.
Galatoula said the long-term vision is to establish a network where the relationships continue well beyond the event itself.
"We don't want people walking away with a notebook full of inspirational quotes and then returning to business as usual," he said.
"We want them leaving with genuine relationships, practical insights and a clearer understanding of what they need to do next.
"The demand for this first event tells us there are Australian business owners who are hungry for something different. They're not looking for another networking event where everybody hands out business cards and disappears.
"They want to be around people who understand what it takes to build a business, who have experienced the same pressures and who are prepared to share what they've learned.
"That's the room we went looking for five years ago and couldn't find. Now nobody like us has to go looking for it again."
