Thirty partners recognised with Australian Partner Awards at gala event

Gold Coast, Australia – September 04, 2009: Last night, at the Australian Partner Conference on the Gold Coast, Microsoft Australia proudly honoured an elite group of Microsoft partners for their exemplary delivery of innovative solutions and services to customers during the past year.

In recognition, 30 Microsoft partners, who were selected from a field of 74 finalists, were presented with Microsoft Australian Partner of the Year Awards. The award winners were selected from a group of nominations based on their dedicated use of Microsoft technologies to provide solutions for their customers’ needs.

“It’s been an unprecedented year in which the economic climate has proven to be a true test of character for Microsoft and its partners” said Mr Paul Voges, SMB and Partner Group Director, Microsoft Australia.

“Against this backdrop, the winners of our annual Partner of the Year Awards have shown extraordinary leadership in helping their customers to run their businesses more effectively by getting the most of their technology investments.”

“Moreover, the Awards ceremony not only provides a great opportunity to honour the winners and finalists, but also to thank all of our 14,000 partners for their hard work and commitment to working with Microsoft.”

 This year’s Award recipients are:

         Winner: Jasco Consulting Pty Ltd

         Finalist: Hostworks Limited

         Finalist: Emantra Pty Ltd

 

Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Windows Desktop Deployment Partner of the Year

         Winner: Dimension Data

         Finalist: Gen-I Australia Pty Ltd

 

Business Intelligence Partner of the Year

         Winner: Hands-On Management Pty Ltd
