Company Momentum Continues in Q4 2003 Brightmail Secures over 300 New Enterprise Customers
Brightmail, the leader in anti-spam protection, today announced an additional 300 new enterprise customer wins in Q4 2003, including Airbus, American Express, Cendant, Dell, Hersheys, Kimberly-Clark, and Viacom. Marking its sixth consecutive quarter as cash flow positive, Brightmailalso celebrates its first full year of profitability (Q1-Q4 2003), and 100% year-over-year revenue growth. Brightmail continued to demonstrate international growth, with greater than 20% of new business coming from Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The company also announced a partnership with Openwave Systems, in which Openwave will resell the Brightmail Anti-Spam software as part of its Openwave Email Mx platform. The fully integrated solution already protects nine ISPs and more than 11 million mailboxes worldwide.

The Brightmail reseller network continued to be a top priority in the fourth quarter to continue growth in the enterprise market. The company reported more than 25 new reseller partners this quarter, for a total of 100 worldwide.
