Logica takes home two Intermedium Awards for best performance and is named VMware’s 2009 Rising Star
Sydney, 28 October 2009 - Logica, a leading IT and business services company, has been named winner in three prestigious industry awards.
The company’s Australian operation was awarded two 2009 Intermedium Awards at this morning’s annual Froggys presentation held in Canberra. This news follows hot on the heels of the company being named the 2009 Rising Star by VMware at an awards ceremony held in Sydney on Tuesday night.
As winner of the 2009 Froggy Award, Logica is acknowledged as the nation’s top government sales performer in the Federal Government ICT market for the year as judged by the independent, specialist research and advisory firm, Intermedium.
Logica’s success in this market was further recognised with the company scooping a second Froggy Award which recognised the company’s growth over the past three years in Federal Government contracts based on its existing market presence.

Earlier in the week Logica Australia was named the 2009 Rising Star by VMware, a title awarded to the VMware partner who has made a significant difference and built a strong VMware business in the last 18 months.

- The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) to transition to a new infrastructure environment and provide ongoing managed services
- Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) for the provision of ICT services, infrastructure and support
- CrimTrac, the Australian Government agency responsible for developing information sharing solutions for law enforcement, to deliver, operate and manage the organisation’s ICT infrastructure.
