RentSmart a leading national computer and office equipment financing company, says Australian consumers want greater convenience and peace of mind when they rent laptops and notebooks and PCs because they are becoming more reliant on technology.
Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ned Montarello says Australians have always embraced the latest trends in technology and recent research showed consumers spent $13.8 billion on technical consumer goods such as laptops, notebooks and PCs in the first 9 months of last year – up 8.4% from a year earlier.

RentSmart fills the gap for customers by offering a service between a credit card and a bank loan, allowing customers to get on-the-spot financing approval for the technology they need via a cash flow and tax friendly operating lease.
