3D Networks Brings Mitel Aboard

Announcement posted by Mitel 10 Feb 2010

3D Networks, Australia’s leading integrator of customised and integrated business communications solutions, today announced that it has received the Mitel authorizedPARTNER designation. As a result, 3D Networks will be able to offer local businesses Mitel unified communications software solutions that are simple, secure and cost effective.

“We are fortunate to have an incredible install-base here in Australia.  After recently assessing their specific networking needs for the new decade, it became clear a close relationship with Mitel was pivotal for meeting and exceeding their needs,” said Rod Taylor, 3D Networks’ chief executive officer.  “Mitel is a global leader with an outstanding reputation.  They deliver highly reliable and affordable products which enhance our portfolio and broaden our technical capabilities.”

Meeting the Demand:  One Standard from a One-Stop-Shop, Asia-Wide

Previously, when Asia-based businesses with offices all around the world deployed communications systems, each regional office made its own decision about what core technology it wanted. Today, these companies, particularly those with regional or satellite offices overseas, are looking for a corporate network standard to be fulfilled by a trusted single-source provider with an established footprint in the region.

“3D Networks have a deep understanding of the unified communications market, a well-established presence across the Asia-Pacific region, and significant technical capabilities on the ground,” said Gwilym Funnell, Mitel vice president, Asia-Pacific.  “We look forward to working with 3D Networks in the future, as they help their clients to improve staff productivity and teamwork by using Mitel unified communications and collaboration solutions.”

As a Mitel authorizedPARTNER, 3D Networks will benefit from a comprehensive range of support programs that include sales and technical training, pre- and post-sales support and a responsive, 24/7 support team.

“We have a highly seasoned engineering workforce who understand the UC market and technology at a deep level,” said Michael Grossfeldt, 3D Networks’ national operations manager.  “Mitel technology nicely rounds out our current portfolio and is purpose-fit for market segments we’re entering.  Our engineers will leverage our existing regional Mitel accreditation to offer Australian customers a solution which caters to their specific needs at an affordable price without compromising quality.”
