Announcement posted by Slattery IT 17 Feb 2010

Leading usability experts UsabilityOne have marked a major business development with two new senior appointments.

Two new senior appointments mark a major business development for leading Australian usability experts, UsabilityOne.

Yahoo!7’s Consumer Insights Manager, Jennifer Reddington, has joined UsabilityOne as General Manager based in Sydney, whilst previously UK-based Sean Smith has taken on the role of Senior Usability Consultant.

The appointments signal a major expansion for the usability experts due to increased interest in usability services from both corporate and non-profit clients. Based in Melbourne and Sydney, UsabilityOne works with a range of high-profile corporate and non-profit clients, including ANZ, Telstra and Oxfam.

Commencing this month, Senior Usability Consultant Sean was both a Partner and Co-Director at London-based Usability by Design (UbD). Sean also worked as a Senior Consultant for UK’s Foolproof where he was responsible for designing, managing and conducting user experience research.

As Sydney-based General Manager for UsabilityOne, Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and unparalleled research skills gained from her time at Yahoo!7 as Consumer Insights Manager.

Managing Director Shefik Bey commented: “The expansion of our team with these senior appointments reflects a continued recognition by both corporate and non-profit organisations of the intrinsic value of website usability research to ensure business success. The team at UsabilityOne is excited by these developments and is looking forward to even bigger and better things with the addition of Jennifer and Sean.”
