HIGH TECHNOLOGY: Cintiq Remastered
The Cintiq range from Wacom is well recognized as the absolute premium ‘must have’ tool for the world’s best professional photographers, designers, artists and animators. The arrival of the much anticipated Cintiq 21UX now gives users 2048 never before seen reasons to work directly on screen with the very best in interactive pen displays.
The advanced experience offered through the latest model starts with a quantum leap in pen performance. Capable of capturing the slightest nuance of pen pressure against the LCD surface, the Cintiq 21UX is the only pen-to-screen interactive display in the world to offer 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. This doubles the resolution of the pen’s pressure curve and greatly improves the accuracy of pressure-sensitive effects such as controlling line weights or opacity adjustments. At near-zero (one gram) starting pressure, the pen can be activated with a feather-light touch, delivering a more natural feel that closely emulates traditional brushes, markers and pens.
The Cintiq 21UX can be tilted, rotated, mounted on an optional articulated arm of taken off its stand altogether and put on a table top. It has a raft of workflow and productivity enhancing features that will be of significant interest to readers that make their living through providing exceptional creative services. It ships with full and impressive contingent of software from Adobe, Corel, Nik and the patented Wacom brushes.
RRP $2848
MID MARKET: Wireless Intuos4.
Building on the advances to workflow and productivity gains delivered when the breakthrough Intuos4 launched last year, the addition of wireless technology in the Intuos4 Wireless model now liberates users allowing them to work "unattached" from a computer. Using the Bluetooth wireless technology standard, the Intuos4 Wireless communicates reliably over distances of up to 10 meters. Ideal for home, office, classroom or remote-meeting use, the Intuos4 Wireless provides mobility and freedom when working with Bluetooth-enabled desktop or laptop computers and features convenient USB charging directly from the computer.
The inclusion of a Bluetooth enable device is a significant development in positioning the Intuos4 Wireless as an excellent tool for use in collaborative work sessions, classroom settings and seminars. The Intuos4 product line crosses the professional market into the mid-market of prosumers and is well suited to any title with a readership that enjoys higher end mobile and wireless devices.
Intuos4 Wireless ships with latest software from Adobe, Autodesk, Corel and Nik.
