Kyocera launches the KM-7530 high speed digital copier

Announcement posted by Kyocera 04 Dec 2003

Long life technology maximises copier up time
Kyocera, a leading document imaging solutions company, has announced a new 75 page per minute digital photocopier, the KM-7530. The new model has advanced document management and paper handling options, and uses the companys long life components to minimise maintenance downtime.
In a recent US-wide survey of multi-functional products, Kyocera gained the highest ratings for reliability, quality and cost of service: see under Notes for Editors, below.
The KM-7530 is designed to support large departments with high page volumes and complex document finishing requirements. It benefits from a 4,200-sheet paper supply via two 550-sheet paper cassettes, a 3,000-sheet paper deck and 100-sheet multipurpose bypass. Long copy runs are enabled by the facility to add toner and paper while the job is running, and the intuitive wide touch panel ensures ease of operation.
High Quality output
Output quality from the KM-7530 is a crisp 1,800dpi and the optional printing and scanning systems allow users to employ it as a fully functional departmental document management solution. The KM-7530 assures professional output with the capability to sort, collate, send to a mailbox, staple, hole-punch, fold and booklet staple.
The KM-7530 uses Kyoceras long life drum which yields 4.5 million pages. The maintenance cycle is 500,000 pages, which is longer than any other comparable copier and ensures that users experience minimum downtime for planned maintenance.
Kyocera uses consistent technology across its entire copier and printer range which guarantees that products can be integrated into networks with unparalleled ease. The product is equipped with advanced software facilities enabling network managers to continuously monitor the status of the machine.
Les Szabo, Manager, Product Marketing at Kyocera, commented, The KM-7530 expands our range of high speed, highly functional digital copiers and multi-functional products. It uses Kyoceras unique long life technology to ensure robust, uninterrupted performance. The intuitive user interface makes it easy for all users to create professional-looking documents, while the comprehensive network management software included with the KM-7530s optional printing system ensures that network managers can monitor the device with ease.
