Vadis signs distribution agreement with MailGuard

Announcement posted by MailGuard 31 Mar 2010

New partnership set to increase availability of MailGuard Cloud services to the Channel.
MailGuard, one of the leading vendors in SaaS (Software as a Service) email and web security, announced it has entered into an agreement with VADIS Systems, Australia's first cloud-focused distributor.

The partnership will increase the availability of MailGuard services globally and extend its reach across multiple verticals.

VADIS has three main areas of concentration; cloud services/virtualisation, networking and security.

"The focus on integrating core technology offerings with cloud services makes VADIS a very appealing VAD in this market," says Craig McDonald, Founder and CEO of MailGuard.

MailGuard operates a strong network of partners to offer its services world-wide. With a focus on partner growth and channel development, the addition of cloud-based partners is instrumental in strengthening MailGuard's corporate vision in the channel arena.

McDonald continues, "Obviously, it is important for us to have partners that know the industry well and VADIS has a particularly clear and defined strategy for cloud security and virtualisation."

VADIS Sales and Marketing Director, Gerry Tucker said they were seeking to partner with a vendor who could deliver value to the channel and end user.

"MailGuard allows for simple and easy customer migration, which minimises IT resource on both channel and client side," says Tucker.

MailGuard's lead generation initiatives aim to make it easy for VADIS' resellers to uncover additional revenue opportunities. Tucker says, "Not only are the margins attractive, but MailGuard's incentives reward both distributor and reseller through recurring revenue streams."

VADIS will offer the full suite of MailGuard solutions including email and web filtering, email continuity, image monitoring, and email archiving services. They plan to bundle the services as a first line of defence against email and web borne security threats.
