Megapixels for your memory keeper this Mother’s Day

Announcement posted by Write Away Communication 22 Apr 2010

Just in time for Mother’s Day, GE has released the first two cameras from its new GE Smart Series – the C1033 (10.2 megapixel) and C1233 (12.4 megapixel).

Offering the optimum balance between functionality, style and value, cameras in the GE Smart Series are loaded with intuitive features that make capturing moments and transforming them into memories easier than ever. Priced under $100, they make an ideal gift for the family photo fanatic.

Though simple to use, behind the sleek exterior and ultra clear 2.4” LCD screen lies a host of sophisticated features including:

Auto Scene Detection: takes the guesswork out of scene selection, for vibrant pictures in virtually any setting.
Pan Stitching: automatically makes it easy to stitch three images together, for seamless panoramic pictures.
Face Detection: automatically focuses and optimises exposure for sharp, brilliant portraits.
Image Stabilisation: overcomes camera shake to help take clearer, sharper pictures.
In-Camera Red-Eye Removal: remove red-eye immediately while viewing images on the LCD.

Both cameras offer a 3x optical zoom lens and are able to record and playback videos with sound. Available now from camera resellers nationwide, they come in three colours - black, silver and red.
