Turlee Station Stay is celebrating its participation in FarmDay 2010 by offering one lucky family a three-night holiday at the property.
All families have to do to win this wonderful prize is jump on to Turlee Station Stay’s blog http://turleestationstay.blogspot.com/ and name the six chickens that are the farm’s newest residents, owners Nathen and Sophie Wakefield explained.

“The lucky family will sleep in a family room within in the traditional working shearer’s quarters and have the opportunity to tag along on a station water run for the day, learn about stock practices and the area’s world heritage, as well as meet the working dogs and help with the chooks,” Sophie said.

“The kids might also get a ride on one of our tractors, or get to catch some yabbies!” she added.

To enter visit the Turlee Station Stay blog, click “chooks” on the right hand side of the blog page and suggest names for the six new feathered friends. Entries close on Sunday 9 May, so get in quick!

As supporters of FarmDay www.farmday.com.au, Turlee Station Stay is also participating in the event on 29-30 May, by hosting a matched family who registered to join FarmDay 2010, as well as the winning family.
