Bialik College offers wireless connectivity to students and staff with Meru Networks' 802.11n wireless local area network (WLAN)

Announcement posted by Wavelink 17 May 2010

Bialik College has implemented a Meru Networks 802.11n wireless local area network (WLAN) to provide Internet access to more than 1000 students at its campus in Hawthorn, Victoria.

David Micallef, Head of Technology, Bialik College, says that Meru Networks was selected over other major vendors based on its ease of deployment and scalability.

“Thanks to Meru’s unique single-channel approach and ability to support high densities of wireless users with no channel interference, students, teachers and staff at Bialik College are now connected online, wire-free.”

Ilan Rubin, director, Wavelink Communications, said, “Bialik College needed a WLAN solution that was simple to implement and manage throughout the campus, without affecting classes.”

"We are proud to support this highly academic school with an accountable and reliable WLAN solution from Meru Networks that can offer students a stable Internet connection.”
