CeBIT Australia 2010 Telstra Live Event iPhone App can now be downloaded free from the Apple App Store.
SYDNEY, Australia– May 21, 2010: CeBIT Australia 2010 Telstra Live Event
iPhone App can now be downloaded free from the Apple App Store.
The Australia Telstra Live Event iPhone app will enrich the CeBIT visitor experience, giving users access to all the information they need to know about CeBIT at their fingertips.
The CeBIT app, available for download today, features a state-of-the-art
mobile Augmented Reality (AR) platform, utilising the iPhone’s Camera and GPS modules to present real time location based event information via the camera.
“The CeBIT Live Event app is designed specifically to enhance the event experience, for both visitors and exhibitors” said CeBIT Chief Technology Officer, Gilad Greenbaum.
In the CeBIT iPhone app users will be able to access event information and schedules, a basic showfloor map, exhibitor information and locations and exhibition point of interest information including conference locations, facilities & amenities.
A search engine feature will also allow users to search through a full directory by
category, exhibitor name and tags.
“The CeBIT App will help visitors plan their visit throughout the showfloor, search
and locate specific technologies, and present exhibitor and booth information on their
iPhone,” said Gilad.
In addition, it will provide conference, workshop and seminar information in real-
time, allowing visitors to catch all the show floor activities and personalise their
experience at the show.
The app was designed by Mobile development firm, Insqribe.

We are focused on enabling Insqribe’s real time mobile platform to be utilised in functional and compelling experiences delivering real value to people on the go,” said Insqribe’s co-founder and Head of Products Danny Housseas.
