Child Support Services Agency Chooses Cincom Eloquence to Streamline Document Generation
Worldwide Software provider Cincom Systems announces that the State of Utah’s Office of Recovery Serviceshas chosen Cincom Eloquence to improve its document communications processes by replacing its aging mainframe-based document generation system.

“After an extensive evaluation of multiple vendors and solutions, we selected Cincom based on their willingness to engage with us to learn our business, meet our unique business processes and to provide the best value for the State,” commented Ken Matheson, Project Manager for the State of Utah Department of Human Services, Office of Recovery Services. “In addition to Cincom’s Eloquence being able to accommodate our unique requirements, the knowledge and technical skills of Cincom’s staff indicate that we have made a good choice.”

The State of Utah’s Office of Recovery Services is an agency located within the Utah Department of Human Services whose mission is to serve children and families by promoting independence through responsible parenthood, and to ensure public funds are used properly.

Key considerations for the selection of Cincom Eloquence included:
  • Ease of use in the development and creation of complex documents in high-volume production applications, and,
  • The ability for users to access the system from across the agency and remotely.

The Office of Recovery Services anticipates significant improvements in the speed of document development and generation from Cincom Eloquence’s intuitive design interface, which gives users a more active role – lessening the burden on IT resources.

“Our existing mainframe-based document generation system has served us well, but has become outdated and no longer meets all our business needs,” said Mark Brasher, Director, Office of Recovery Services. “It was clear that we needed an intuitive, web-based solution that would satisfy our end user’s need for anywhere access while integrating easily with our existing infrastructure. Cincom Eloquence’s web-based interface provides our end users with the ability to dynamically assemble, generate, and deliver documents with varying degrees of complexity in real time, as well as support our high-volume batch generation needs.”

Prior to its selection, Cincom successfully completed a proof-of-concept to demonstrate Cincom Eloquence’s ease of integration and ease of use. During this stage, Cincom Eloquence successfully proved how quickly and easily it can handle the development and generation of complex documents in excess of 75,000 multi-page documents per month. In addition, Cincom Eloquence’s support of open standards was instrumental in demonstrating its ease of integration with the agency’s mainframe infrastructure and emerging application requirements including e-signatures.
