Cummins South Pacific signs up ConnXion for a three year contract

Announcement posted by ConnXion Limited 12 Apr 2005

ConnXion Limited (ASX:CXN), a leading provider of document production and delivery solutions, today announced the signing of a three year contract with Cummins, the global leader in the design and manufacture of diesel engines and related technologies for the implementation of the ConnXion Hosted Service.
The list of new ConnXion customers continues to grow and now includes leading multi-national and Australian-based corporations such as DHL, Schenker, Budget Rent-a-Car, Smorgon Steel and Data Monitoring Services (TAB).
By partnering with ConnXion and entering into a 3 year agreement, we will realise a reduction in our cost of managing our Accounts Receivable processes and ultimately we expect to gain an increase in cash flow, said Andrew Tallentyre, Director of Finance of Cummins South Pacific. We are now considering how the ConnXion capability and service can be used in other document production and delivery processes such as in Accounts Payable.
The ConnXion Hosted Service uses an Application Service Provider (ASP) model which will enable Cummins to remotely use ConnXion as its communications infrastructure to produce business documents such as statements and reminder notices and seamlessly deliver them to their customers via email, fax, short message service (SMS) and the post.
The long term nature of our agreement with Cummins further evidences the value that ConnXion offers large multi-national corporations and will allow Cummins to expand the use of the ConnXion service across many processes in their business, said David Colvin, Chief Executive Officer of ConnXion Limited.
