The SCO Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCOX), the owner of the UNIX operating system and a leading provider of UNIX-based solutions, has announced that SCO Forum 2004, the company?s annual conference, will take place August 1-3 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. SCO Forum 2004 will highlight the company?s 25th anniversary in bringing powerful UNIX software solutions to businesses around the world.
This year?s conference, built around ?The Power of UNIX,? will provide attendees with the latest information and demonstrations of SCO?s UNIX solutions including new releases of SCO UnixWare, SCOoffice Mail Server, SCO Smallfoot, Vintela Authentication from SCO and the upcoming release of SCO OpenServer, code-named Legend. In addition, the company will provide updates on its technology road map including its 64-bit and future business strategies. Company executives will also provide attendees with updates on the company?s efforts to license and protect its core UNIX intellectual property.
For more than decade, SCO Forum has been the gathering place for resellers, developers, partners, and customers whose businesses depend on SCO solutions. Attendees will hear keynotes from SCO?s president and CEO, Darl McBride, as well as other company executives and information technology industry leaders.
