Quadrem breaks through USD$100B in transactional throughput

Announcement posted by Quadrem Australia Pty Limited 24 Jun 2010

Brisbane, Australia 08 June 2010 Quadrem, a global supply management solutions leader, has reached a milestone by exceeding US$100 Billion in cumulative spend (“throughput”) via its global supply network. Quadrem continues to succeed in its global vision of simplifying and streamlining business by deploying 100% On Demand solutions that remove costs for both buyers and suppliers. These realized savings are the driving force that has allowed Quadrem’s cumulative throughput to pass US$100 Billion.

“It is our customers’ commitment to advance supply management processes that has allowed Quadrem to achieve this goal,” said Quadrem CEO Charles Jackson.

Mr. Jackson, who has been an executive with Quadrem since its formation and seen first-hand its steady growth, says that it’s a not only a positive for the company, but its customers as well.

“Given the current global economic climate, these automated procurement processes are essential to companies’ in improving efficiencies and growing collaboration, resulting in lower costs and better supply chain performance,” he said. “Consequently, this is a win-win for Quadrem and its customers.”

Andrew Stafford, Regional VP of Quadrem Australasia went on to say “Australia has traditionally been a key region for Quadrem with many global and local blue chip companies both as buyers and suppliers transacting through the market place. Despite the downturn in global markets Quadrem continues to attract new marquee customers onto the platform, all seeking to leverage off the services Quadrem delivers in helping drive down costs of procurement and assist in enforcing compliance through the procurement chain. Furthermore as we move into a period of uncertainty with the possible introduction of the Resource Super Profits Tax in Australia by 2012 organisations affected by this tax will be seeking to source products and services more effectively, manage spend and create better visibility into their cost of doing business, Quadrem gives our customers this control.”

Quadrem’s regional head office is in Brisbane from where it services its customers across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
