Sydney, July 1, 2010 – Wavelink Communications, a value added distributor of business IP, wireless and communication solutions has worked with Digium to test and verify the interoperability of Asterisk based PBX platforms with Cisco Small Business solutions.

As a distributor of the Digium Switchbox range, as well as a variety of interoperating SIP handsets and IP devices, Wavelink is driven to create powerful and tested IP telephony solutions for its resellers and customers. The Cisco Small Business solutions that have been tested and verified to interoperate on the Asterisk-based PBX platforms include the Cisco SPA 500 Series IP Phone and the Cisco ESW 500 Series Switch.

Ilan Rubin, managing director, Wavelink Communications said, “Wavelink has worked closely with Cisco to test that all of the locally available Cisco Small Business range of handsets and IP devices work and operate together with the Asterisk-based PBX platforms. As a result of this collaboration, Wavelink customers and resellers can rest assured they are working with a tested solution set.”

Wavelink shares Cisco’s vision to provide world-class IP telephony solutions that conform to open standards to ensure quality communications infrastructures for customers.
