HOME RENOVATORS GET A HELPING HAND FROM PAINT PLACE

BRISBANE: Paddington couple Tyler Brown and Sean Fletcher get a lucky break renovating their home, winning a $3,000 dream room makeover from Paint Place.

For Ms Brown and Mr Fletcher the prize came at the perfect time.

“My husband and I are avid renovators; this is our third home in three years,” Ms Brown said.

“But this house is special because it’s the one we’re planning to live in,” she said.

“We usually do the painting ourselves so this prize is a big help.”

Ms Brown won the national competition to create a name for a gorgeous dusty pink colour that will be included in the New Look 2011 colour forecast range.

Taking inspiration from her niece’s rosy cheeks, Ms Brown called the colour New Look Blushing Madly.

The passionate renovators will receive a room makeover including New Look paint and a painter to the value of $3,000.

Ms Brown is no stranger to painting, usually taking on the interior and exterior paint jobs herself.

“I can definitely cut in with the best of them,” Ms Brown said.

“But it’ll be nice not to have to do it myself for a change,” she said.
