CPA Australia Announce Webinar on Enhancing the Value of Family Business

Professor Ken Moores of Bond University to Present

David Harland, Managing Director of FINH and Chairman of CPA Australia's National Forum on Valuation of Equity and Other Securities is pleased to announce that Professor Ken Moores of Bond University will be presenting at the next event on August 26th.

Professor Moores and Mr Tim Hasso, also from Bond University, will bringthe forum together to discuss the body of evidence emerging about the risk and return attributes of private family controlled businesses. In particular they will focus on the features, such as governance, that have been identified as value enhancing for Private Family Controlled Business.

Ken Moores is an expert in the area of Family Business. He is currently the director of the Australian Centre for Family Business and is a Professor at Bond Universityin the Faculty of Business, Technology and Sustainable Development. Ken has undertaken more than a decade of research to identify the advantages of family business that lead to the evidence that they have superior performance to their publicly owned counterparts.
