Softlink Supports School Librarians with Excellence Award

Softlink's Library Mangement System;Oliver for School Libraries at the SLAQ/IASL Conference

School Librarianship (IASL), Conference being held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the 27 September – 1 October 2010.

This conference is the SLAQ Biennial Conference and the 39th IASL Annual Conference incorporating the 14th International Forum on Research in School Librarianship.

A very special event taking place at the conference on Tuesday, 28 September, at 11:00am, is the presentation of the IASL/Softlink Excellence Award. Softlink has been sponsoring this award since it was established in 2004. The IASL/Softlink Excellence Award recognizes the significant contributions to school librarianship by school library specialists, educators, and/or researchers. Selection of the recipient(s) is based upon peer nomination. Softlink would like to wish all nominated the best of luck.

The award ceremony is just one event organized for the SLAQ/IASL Conference. The theme this year is: Diversity Challenge Resilience, with the conference promising to explore developing curriculum, delivering excellence through standards, supporting the digital education agenda and building literate communities through reading, writing, books, art and literature.

The Softlink Sales Team from across Australia and New Zealand will be available to discuss the latest version of Oliver, at Booths 15 and 16 of the SLAQ/IASL conference.
