New Horizons honours four employees for 25-Years of Service

SYDNEY: 26 August 2010– Demonstrating ongoing support and recognition of the valuable contribution people with disability make to the community, Canon Australia will honour seventy employees at New Horizons Enterprises Limited – a leading Australian Disability Enterprise. The event will take place at the New Horizons Open Day, North Ryde on Friday 27th August 2010.

The New Horizons Business Services packaging team have been providing commercial packaging services to Canon Australia, for more than 6 years packaging up more than 70,000 PIXMA ink kits per month.

Canon Australia Managing Director, Mr Kenji Kobayashi, will present the team, who range in age from 20 to over 65, with Certificates of Appreciation. Canon will also celebrate with those who have reached a milestone in their careers. This year, four employees achieved an impressive 25 years of continuous service. They areRichard Baker of Denistone, Lisa Donnelly of Eastwood, Rosemary Graham of Eastwood and Deana Savvas of Eastwood.

The New Horizons Open Day, now in its third year, also gives carers, family and friends the opportunity to get together to experience the team’s camaraderie and work environment.
