Companies build greater regional footprint to better service not-for-profit customers

Melbourne, 23rd September 2010: Advanced Solutions International (ASI) today announced it has purchased the assets of the Donor Management business, a well respected and long serving provider of fundraising software to over 300 organisations in Australia and New Zealand.

Creating a greater footprint across Asia-Pacific, the deal will allow ASI to serve a broader range of products to fundraising customers of all sizes, and enable Donor Management customers to take advantage of new and emerging technologies for the not-for-profit sector.

ASI, which has traditionally worked with larger fundraising organisations and associations with its iMIS software, will now be better placed to serve small to medium not-for-profit organisations with the addition of the Donor Management software.

“The culture of Donor Management is an excellent fit for ASI, and it is important to us that we combine motivated employees who are passionate about the not-for-profit sector,” said Paul Ramsbottom, managing director, ASI Asia-Pacific. “This investment is part of our continued commitment to the future of ASI in the region, enabling us to offer a deeper level of expertise and support to our fundraising customers of all sizes.”

The agreement will neither impact the current use of ASI iMIS and Donor Management products by existing customers, nor the high levels of service and support they have come to expect from both companies. The combined business will continue to invest in and develop both the iMIS and Donor Management products.

All Donor Management staff will remain employed and will transition over to the ASI business. Donor Management managing director, Andrew Stein, will continue to play an active role in the business.

“Donor Management has made the decision to team with ASI in the knowledge that it is committed to the development of the business and will continue to invest in professional expertise, ” said Stein. “With our combined efforts, we can help our customers maximise the relationships they have with their donors, increase loyalty and enhance the value of their technology investments.”

ASI's flagship software product iMIS is used by more than 280 not-for-profit organisations in the Asia-Pacific region including Cancer Council Victoria, National Breast Cancer Foundation, The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, The Royal Australian College Of General Practitioners, Surf Life Saving Foundation and The Tax Practitioners Board.
