SYDNEY, 27 September 2010: West Country Office Machines, the first reseller in Western Australia to join Canon's Partner Channel Program, today announced its successful expansion into Perth through its metropolitan arm, PrintSync. The expansion means that West Country Office Machines now offers print and document management services in the 'Southern Corridor' of WA between Margaret River, Busselton, Bunbury Mandurah, Narrogin and Perth.

West Country Office Machines has significantly invested in PrintSync, recruiting six new employees and relocating two staff members from its head office in Bunbury to join the new Perth office. The new team brings a vast amount of experience from within the print and document management industry.

"Our experience and market leadership in regional Western Australia has helped make our expansion into Perth a success. We have a long history with Canon and believe its best-of-breed multifunction printers and software provides us with an advantage in the market place," said Sean Tilbrook, Managing Director, PrintSync.

PrintSync has already experienced positive results from its expansion having won 54 new clients in Perth, since its opening in January this year. These clients include accounting firm UHY Haines Norton and Ausdrill.

As part of Canon's Partner Channel Program, PrintSync distributes Canon's imageRUNNER and imagePROGRAF devices as well as software. Working together Canon and PrintSync can provide Perth customers with document management solutions that help organisations reduce the cost of print and improve document workflows.

Brian Nelson, General Manager, Canon Partner Channel said: "PrintSync's commitment to helping customers reduce the cost of printing and improve their document workflow makes them an ideal partner for Canon. Its recent expansion into Perth also aligns with our commitment to significantly expand our coverage in the marketplace by increasing the market's access to our products."

The announcement follows CSG, Oc" and BBC Digital joining Canon's Partner Channel Program and demonstrates Canon's aggressive growth strategy that will expand its coverage with more people, selling more Canon products, to more customers.
