Flight Centre is offering a specialist battlefields tour, titledAnzacs on the Western Front, which departs Lille on April 24, 2011 and travels to Amiens, Villers-Bretonneux, The Somme Artois and Ypres-Salient.

The tour traces the commemorative sites of the Great War, including Vimy Ridge, the battlefields of Pozires, the famous Windmill site and Mouquet Farm, the Memorial Park at Le Hamel and Wellington Tunnels in Arras.

Travellers will also attend the Anzac Day dawn service, a moving Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ieper and travel the line to

Plug Street
along the Messines Ridge.
