FABO Award Winners Announced

Announcement posted by mellennium PR 19 Oct 2010

The winners of the inaugural FABO Awards were announced last night at a gala dinner held in Sydney. Ten categories were presented and the event was attended by almost 150 people from Australia’s non-profit organisations.

“We congratulate our winners their achievements to be presented with a FABO Award,” said Morri Young, founder of the FABO Awards and Director of Matrix On Board, an organisation that specialises in providing financial management, management support and training and development to non-profit organisations across Australia. “The response to the FABOs from the non-profit industry has been very positive and we’re also encouraged by the support from outside the industry. The FABO Awards have been a great success in its first year and we look forward to them becoming a regular event on the calendar.”

The Finance, Administration and Back Office (FABO) Awards celebrate and publicly appreciate the contribution of the people who spend their time working behind the scenes of Australia’s non-profit organisations in the finance, administration, IT and human resources ‘back offices’.
