Kyocera launches the FS-C5016N colour printer

Smallest A4 colour printer in its class; a safe bet for low cost of ownership
Kyocera, the document imaging specialist, today launched the FS-C5016N, the first A4 colour printer to benefit from the companys unique ECOSYS technology. The single-pass FS-C5016N prints in full colour at 16 pages per minute and is exceptional value with full colour printing for less than eight cents per page. Another advantage is the long life maintenance kit of 200,000 pages, far exceeding any other vendors offer.
The FS-C5016N is the ideal economical output device for mono and colour printing requirements in any office enabling organisations to produce professional quality business documents quickly and easily.

Recent research carried out by Kyocera and emedia has shown that the two biggest concerns for end users when purchasing a colour printer are the consumables cost per page and the reliability of the machine. With the FS-C5016N we have addressed and overcome both those issues, removing the barriers to the widespread adoption of colour printing in the office, he added.
The FS-C5016N comes networked as standard and has a 500 sheet paper tray and 100-sheet by-pass tray. Its 400MHz processor and 96MB standard memory ensure that it can cope with complex print jobs without compromising on speed while 600dpi resolution guarantees crisp, clear output.
The FS-C5016N has an attractive purchase price of $3,999 ex. tax. Coupled with its low cost of under eight cents per page for full colour and under two cents per page for monochrome, the FS-C5016N represents the most cost-effective business colour printer on the market.
The FS-C5016N can be expanded to meet the requirements of high volume users with the addition of up to three extra paper trays. A duplex unit may also be added. The FS-C5016N has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 85,000 pages and toner yield of 8,000 pages per colour.
