Designer Rugs releases new collection by Dinosaur Designs

Following the success of their first collaboration in 2006, which won an Australian Design Award, Designer Rugs and Dinosaur Designs have released a brand new handmade rug collection.

Created exclusively for Designer Rugs, the six rug designs are a striking evolution of the signature style that is quintessentially Dinosaur Designs and compliments the original collection.

The designs are even more remarkable than the original series, featuring a mix of big bold amorphic designs, monochromatic patterns and punchy colours.

Using the classic rectangular shape as the ‘canvas’, each rug features playful compositions of organic shapes while bold colour combinations deliver a style and personality unique to each.

The Designer Rugs / Dinosaur Designs collection # 2 features the stock size 200 cm by 300 cm and can custom colour and sized created upon request.

Each rug is hand tufted in 100% New Zealand wool with the majority featuring 30mm shag pile felted yarns, in addition to cut pile felted yarns.

The Designer Rugs/Dinosaur Designs collection is priced from $3390 to $4950 for stock sizes, with customised sizes priced on application. The collection will be available in Designer Rugs showrooms nationally from October 2010.
