Hubone named in MIS Strategic 100

Announcement posted by HubOne Pty Ltd 30 Oct 2010

Named as one of the rising star vendors CIOs must watch

HubOne was named today in the Australian Financial Review MIS Magazine annual Strategic 100 edition as one of the ten rising stars. The Financial Review classified the 10 rising stars as often very new businesses but ones that show signs of seriously influencing the way technology is bought or deployed.

"This is fantastic recognition of the work we have done in cloud computing adoption in Australia" said HubOne's Managing Director, Nick Beaugeard.

"Following on from receiving Microsoft Online Services Partner of the year with this, shows just how important Cloud Computing is now regarded in business and Information Technology Circles", he said.

Since January 2010, HubOne has been working to deliver world class deployments of Microsoft Cloud computing solutions and became a "pure cloud" integrator at the start of this financial year. Seeing a convergence of capability, vendor maturity and customer demand, HubOne has enjoyed a massively expanding eco system resulting in an ever expanding customer base.

"Rather than this being a result purely of our success, I see this as recognition that enterprise class cloud computing has come of age." explained Beaugeard "We are excited to be piloting programs where we work to assist other organisations take advantage of this opportunity, learning from our experience rather than all by trial and error."

HubOne is planning to launch its SP-squared program in December which is designed to grow the cloud provider ecosystem, but is accepting beta nominations now. SP-Squared is a services and support program which aims to accelerate organisations through business planning, customer acquisition and vendor management, whilst providing central technical services to support this growth. Six large integrators or distributors across Asia Pacific are already working with HubOne on this program.

Beaugeard concluded by acknowledging the support of his customers and the entire team at Microsoft for making this achievement possible.
