Porter Novelli Sydney Expands with New Appointments

Porter Novelli announced today that it has appointed two new senior members of staff to join the growing team in its Sydney office.
Gillian Ward has joined the firm's Technology team, while Melissa Clare has been appointed to the Corporate Communications practice. Both have joined as Senior Account Managers.
The new appointments are a reflection of Porter Novelli Sydney's recent growth, coinciding with the firm's move to new larger premises in St Leonards.

Gillian brings a wealth of international corporate and technology expertise to Porter Novelli, gained both in-house and within consultancy environments. Her previous experience includes senior European communications roles at British Telecom and a short contract with Vodafone Australia. She most recently worked with a travel-advertising agency in Sydney, where she established the Public Relations division and introduced IT clients to its portfolio.
Melissa also brings a diverse range of skills to Porter Novelli, with her background including providing communications counsel and support to companies such as Australia Post, Sydney Markets Limited, The Royal Agricultural Society, Landcare, and Aventis. Before joining Porter Novelli, Melissa managed communications in NSW/ACT for Australia's largest charity, Mission Australia, where she was responsible for the publicity requirements of over 200 community and employment services.
