How to correctly fit your disposable Pro-Val respirator

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
  • Operational temperature range -5 degrees celcius to + 50 degrees celcius
  • Recommended storage requirements +15 degress celcius to 30 degrees celcius in a clean, dry, humidity proof environment
  • Respirators should be used in accordance with AS/NZS 1715 selection, use and maintenance of respiratory protective devices
  • Fit respirator as per fitting instructions and check for leak/tightness prior to entering contaminated area
  • These respirators should not be cleaned and reused
  • Respirators should be changed when filter medium becomes clogged
  • Single use only, maximum in-use time should not exceed 8 hours per respirator

LIMITATIONS OF USE

  • Do not use where there may be a deficiency of oxygen (less than 18%)
  • In atmospheres immediately dangerous to health or life
  • In atmospheres containing toxic gases or vapours
  • In situations where the particulate concentration exceeds 10 times the Australian / New Zealand Occupational Exposure Standard
  • If more than 2 years from date of manufacture
  • If the respirator is damaged or altered in any way
