Local Tester Achieves ISTQB Certification First

Brian Osman, Knowledge Engineer at Software Education, has become the first person in Australasia to gain the full suite ofInternational Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)advanced certifications.

Already Advanced Test Manager and Advanced Test Analyst certified, Osman has now achievedISTQB Certified Tester, Advanced Level - Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA) certification, making him an ISTQBCertified Tester, Full Advanced Level Test Professional.

CTAL-TTA certification only became available locallyin October, with Osman being awarded certificate number ATTA00001, issued by the Australia and New Zealand Testing Board (ANZTB).

In contrast to other certifications offered by the ISTQB/ANZTB, this advanced level certification covers the testing of technical requirements in detail - an aspect of testing which many find particularly challenging.
