IndustrySearch named as official online media partner for Austech 2011

Announcement posted by com4tech 24 Nov 2010

Melbourne, 23 November 2010 – Leading Australian business-to-business (B2B) media website IndustrySearch, a hybrid search-directory-content website focused on the industrial and B2B sectors, has been named as the official online media partner for Austech 2011. Austech is Australia’s leading advanced manufacturing and machine tool trade show, organised by AMTIL, the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited, based in Melbourne.

Jeremy Nathan, Managing Director IndustrySearch, believes that Austech is not only a showcase of the latest manufacturing technologies but also a networking and relationship building opportunity. As official online media partner, IndustrySearch is helping to promote the show to new visitors while helping them plan their time by distributing newsletters and exhibitor news to their extensive database ahead of the show.

“As part of our marketing partnership, Austech organiser AMTIL views promotion to our audience as a key benefit,” Mr Nathan says. “This takes advantage of not only IndustrySearch’s website audience of over 200,000 monthly visitors, but also its email database of 34,000 subscribers, which is the largest opt-in database of its kind in Australia.”

According to Mr Nathan, Austech is a very well established show which is focused on industries that are core to the IndustrySearch website. “Through IndustrySearch’s involvement with Austech over the years we have watched it continue to move with the times by hosting a compelling and interesting industry event,” he says.

In 2011, Austech and National Manufacturing Week will line up alongside the triennial Ausplas international plastics industry exhibition, creating the largest manufacturing exhibition in Australia.
"Many of the world's leading machinery manufacturers will be exhibiting at the show, including leading local manufacturers and suppliers,” says Kim Warren, AMTIL Events Manager. “IndustrySearch will be encouraging its vast subscribers of industry experts and decision makers to come to the show by highlighting all the key products and new technologies available."

She continues: "More than 80% of the available Austech floor space has already been purchased since bookings opened in mid September, which is clearly a sign of economic recovery in Australia’s advanced manufacturing sector.”
IndustrySearch will also have a presence at this major industry event, as Mr Nathan believes it's important for his online business to also have a physical connection to the industry alongside its branding presence. “The combination of the shows involved in this line-up makes it the leading event in this industry in Australia. IndustrySearch sees much value in having an involvement in this event and we’ve felt the same way for over 10 years now.”
