The addition of AC3 is a recognition of the growth in Cloud Storage Services and the Board’s desire to ensure that the SNIA and its strategic programs remain representative of all sections of the data storage community.

Richard Walsh is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for AC3 and has responsibility for AC3 data centres and AC3 architecture and technology direction. In his new role as a Board member of SNIA ANZ, Richard will focus on evangelising emerging Cloud architectures andstandards and act as an advocate for DaaS (Data Storage as a Service) solutions.
