Some of the world’s best players to give poker master class in Melbourne

Melbourne, Australia (January 14th, 2011). One of the highlights at this year’s Aussie Millions Poker Tournament is the Full Tilt Poker Academy Live Seminar.

The Full Tilt Poker Academy is an interactive online program exclusive to Full Tilt Poker that allows students to learn from members of Team Full Tilt includingChris Ferguson,Howard LedererandGus Hansen. This year’s Academy Seminar is only the second time Full Tilt Poker has offered the program in an offline classroom environment, and represents a unique opportunity for players to get face-to-face with the best players in the world.

Once again, Full Tilt Poker is sending a formidable contingent of pro players and online qualifiers to the Aussie Millions including the 2007 Main Event Champion Gus Hansen and the world’s number one poker player; Phil Ivey.

Speakers at the Academy Seminar will include Academy Dean Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, Erick Lindgren and last month’s EPT Prague Main Event winner, Roberto Romanello. In addition to these world class players the Academy will feature some of the best local Australian and New Zealand Red Pros including Jonathan Karamalikis and Simon Watt.

Subjects included are Table Image, Live Tells, Mixed Games, Changing Gears and hand analysis from WSOP bracelet winner Simon Watt.

The seminar will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on January 22nd at Crown Promenades P1 room, located on level 1 of the Crown Promenade functions precinct.

Tickets for the Academy seminar are exclusive to Full Tilt Poker Aussie Millions qualifiers; however Full Tilt Poker is running an online tournament on January 19th at 08:30pm AEDT whereby the top 25 places will receive complimentary tickets to the Academy.
