Eco raffle to raise funds for flood victims

Online eco baby products retailer, Sustainababy, is holding a raffle to raise funds to assist those affected by the devastating floods in Queensland.
Sustainababy joined forces with several of its suppliers to establish the Queensland Flood Relief Raffle last week. Over $2500 of eco baby products have been donated to the prize pool. Entries cost $10 and all proceeds are donated to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal.
"As a former Queenslander, I just couldn’t sit by and do nothing about this tragedy," Laura Trotta (nee McIlwaine), owner of Sustainababy said. “Governments are calling for cash donations and as a new, small business we don’t have much of that available. A lot of our suppliers are in the same situation. By working together we’ve been able to create something that will hopfully raise a significant amount of money.”
“With many people donating cash to the relief efforts anyway, we hope that they will do this via this raffle and have the option to win quality eco friendly baby products along the way."
Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties and anyone is encouraged to show their support by purchasing a raffle entry in the Sustainababy Queensland Flood Relief Raffle.

The raffle will be drawn midday Sunday, 20 February. Money raised from the raffle will be donated to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal on Monday, 21 February 2011.
