Unik Productions Presents the Hip Hop for Hunger Artist Showcase

Dallas, TX – Within the last decade the Dallas music industry has been revived with the help of local artists receiving national exposure. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of outlets for Independent Artists to get exposure and the opportunity to perfect their performance skills. On January 27, 2011, Unik Productions Presents, Hip Hop for Hunger Artist Showcase, at the Boiler Room from 7- 12am. The monthly showcase will offer exposure for independent artists, and the support of various charity organizations.
Each month Dallas artists and industry professionals will unite to perform, network, and donate to the charity being honored for the evening at the Boiler Room. The Boiler Room offers a spacious stage, projector screens and a full service bar and menu. The showcase is not limited to only Hip Hop artist; all genres of music are welcome. As one of the largest influencers, music artists have a tool that can relay knowledge if they use it wisely. With the Hip Hop for Hunger Artist Showcase, people can come and enjoy themselves while giving back. January 27, 2011, the AIDS Services of Dallas have been chosen for the charity to be honored this month. The showcase will begin promptly at 7pm ending at 12am, and the remainder of the evening will be dedicated to networking and helping bring more awareness to ASD. The Showcase will be hosted by Star Ford and special guest co-host Tenay from 97.9 The Beat, with music by Definition DJ Papa Ron.
