Ian Sharpe joins Sydney PMI Chapter Board in Director Role

Sydney, Australia. UXC Training Group is pleased to announce that Ian Sharpe has been appointed as Membership Director for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Sydney Chapter Board.

Ian has been involved with PMI since 2006, during this time he was a mentor as part of the mentoring program in 2009 and 2010 and is a founding member of the REP advisory group.

“As Membership Director for the PMI Sydney Chapter in 2011 I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to drive a number of exciting initiatives. We hope to raise an already increasing Chapter membership to new heights, providing the very best of networking and career development opportunities through member engagement’ Ian says.

Ian has also held a previous role with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) as a Professional Development Council member (2008-2011). His achievements whilst in this role include the introduction of an ‘entry level’ articulation pathway from Certificate IV in PM to the CPPP credential and chairing the review of AIPM Project and Programme National Competency Standards in 2009 and 2010.

"In my 3 years working with the Council I thoroughly enjoyed working with a wide range of senior leaders across Australasia on emergent standards for the Profession." Ian says.
