RTA Staff Credit Union provides assistance package to Members impacted by recent floods

RTA Staff Credit Union today announced an assistance package for Members impacted by the storms and flooding across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. RTA Staff Credit Union Members who have been affected by storms and flooding are encouraged to contact the Credit Union head office as soon as possible to discuss the impact on their personal circumstances.

RTA Staff Credit Union’s relief package includes:

• suspension of loan repayments for up to three months

• allowing early term deposit redemptions without penalty

• assistance with insurance claim processing

• priority assistance in relation to any deposit or loan processing

• specially discounted loan rates to assist in recovery from the storms

RTA Staff Credit Union Chief Executive Mr John Kavalieros said: "We have all been shocked by the recent flooding events throughout the eastern states. As a community-based financial institution, we want affected members to know we will assist in their recovery in any way we can".
