Government funding confirmed for fitness courses at Australian Fitness Academy!

Australian Fitness Academy is pleased to announce they have beenapproved to continue as a provider of the Skills for Victoria - securing Jobs for your future program in 2011.

This program focuses on giving people the opportunity to gain their qualifications through Victorian and Commonwealth government subsidised training. The government subsidy is available on fitness courses,Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor)and Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer).

The Victorian Training Guarantee - Eligibility Criteria

Are you eligible for government subsidised training?

- Are you an Australian Citizen?
- Do you hold a permanent visa?
- Do you hold a special category visa (sub-class 444)?
- Are you an East Timorese Asylum Seeker?
- Do you hold a temporary protection visa?

If you answered yes to any of the above, are you:

- Aged under under 20 years on 01/01/2011? OR,
- Aged 20+ years on 01/01/2011 and applying for a qualification higher than the highest qualification you already hold?

If you answered yes to either of the above, you are most likely eligible for government subsidised training in the Certificate III & IV in Fitness at Australian Fitness Academythrough the Victorian Training Guarantee. Each certification course at AFAthrough the Victorian Training Guarantee is $325, less for Health Care Card holders. (This offers a savings upwardsfrom $1100 per course).

Course Delivery

The Certificate III & IV in Fitness at Australian Fitness Academy is available Face to Face, Fully Online or Integrated.
