CSC NAMES NEW CIO FOR AUSTRALIAN OPERATIONS

Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has appointed Stephen Kowal chief information officer (CIO) of CSCs Australian operations.
Prior to joining CSC, Kowal was CIO at Western Mining Corporation (WMC) and led the IT integration of WMC into BHP Billiton. Before that, he was CIO of BHP Billiton Base Metals, Global Information Technology (IT) Outsourcing manager at BHP Billiton, and held various roles at C&W Optus and the Federal Department of Defence.
Stephen will add significant process management expertise to our business, enabling us to continue delivering technological innovations and tangible business results, said Mike Shove, managing director of CSCs Australian operations.
Kowal succeeds Emily Richmond-Jones, who held the position for five years and has been appointed director of Service Delivery for CSC in Western Australia.
