Tranquil Beach Retreat Designed with Luxury in Mind and Consciousness at Heart

Announcement posted by Strawberry Communications 18 Feb 2011

Comb the white sand for shells, drink in the heady scent of sea air, fall asleep to the sound of the waves and then wake to a breakfast overlooking the ocean.
This is what awaits visitors to the luxurious Neervana Haven beach house, set in secluded Fairhaven on Victoria’s iconic Great Ocean Road between the coastal hot spots of Anglesea and Lorne.

Neervana Haven is now welcoming guests to stay for a week at the beach, or a relaxing weekend break to get away from the stress of the city. Owner Ishani Chattopadhyay said Neervana Haven was a private venue for couples and families to enjoy a holiday, as well as a corporate retreat.

“It also makes the perfect location for a wedding, with the blue sea and beautiful architectural lines of the property providing a great backdrop for such a special occasion,” she added.

Built with sustainability in mind, this eco-friendly property uses 100% accredited green energy, with a solar heated pool and native garden allowing guests to be at one with the environment for the duration of their stay. Guests will also use organic cotton linen and cotton fibre towels hand-made by rural artisans in India. The art installations in and around the house have been created by young architect Matt Bird, who gets his inspiration from everyday materials thereby creating a paradigm for design not costing the earth.

With wireless internet and a top of the line entertainment system, as well as the opportunity to buy the artworks adorning the walls, real pashmina shawls and hand-made embroidered stoles from India, guests never need to leave this tranquil setting.

“Neervana Haven is popular with Melbourne workers and overseas business vistors who need to escape the daily grind in the city and unwind in a natural setting,” Ms Chattopadhyay said.

“They will be able to connect with their mind and consciousness and replenish their spirit. The whole idea of Neervana Haven is for people to experience their own ‘Neervana’ (read Nirvana) and reconnect with their authentic self,” she explained.

Neervana Haven is the perfect luxurious escape for Melbourne’s elite and overseas visitors.

‘Experience Neervana’ is an opportunity to visit the property, meet the owners and learn more about their vision. This launch event will be held on March 3 and 4, 2011 at Neervana Haven (25 Banool Road Fairhaven).
