AEC Systems N.Z give a helping hand to their clients affected by last Tuesday's earthquake.
Sydney, NSW. March 1st 2011 -

After the devastating earthquake that hit Christchurch last Tuesday, the city has experienced over 200 aftershocks and is only beginning to head on the path to recovery. With so many lives lost, and a city brought down to rubble, it is up to all of us to do our part to help the people of Christchurch. The team at AEC Systems in New Zealand were quick to make sure their customers were safe and secure.

“ We contacted many of our clients actually in Christchurch to first check on their well-being and then offer any assistance we could” said Chris Blair the Manager of AEC’s New Zealand office.

We were pleased to know most of our clients and their families were unaffected by the disastrous earthquake.

From those who were unfortunately affected by the earthquake, some were forced to relocate to temporary offices outside the city, without any equipment to resume their work. They had requested that the most suitable way for us to assist them is through providing software for their satellite offices. Therefore the team at AEC organized for software to be sent, along with some morning tea.

Chris Blair stated “We have done nothing special, just helped out where we could. Hopefully, the same would have been done for us if we were in that situation”.

We are pleased to be able to assist those affected by this tragic earthquake and will continue to provide practical solutions and support as the city heads on the path of recovery.
