In line with its objective to build a partner ecosystem that is robust, efficient and scalable to best serve its customers in Asia Pacific, CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced the partner program for the region.
Under this program, CA Technologies has begun to reach out and appoint partners based on their capability to wrap solutions around CA Technologies products, and to recognize partners according to their level of focus and business model.

CA Technologies is working with partners that have strong track records in systems integration and services offerings, as well as proven technical savvy and experience in serving and supporting customers in the region.
The partners in Asia Pacific, based on their business models, fall under the following categories:
Solution Providers (SPs)
These arepartners that can create offerings based on the CA Technologies solutions, including Service Assurance, Security, Virtualization and Service Automation, Service Portfolio Management and Cloud.
Value-Added Distributors (VADs)
These are partners that have business development and technical capability in recruiting and managing a wide network of second-tier resellers. These partners have skills and business know-how in supporting resellers in deal pursuit and acquisition.
Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
These are partners that can take the CA Technologies suite of products and package them as a service for customers to purchase.

Such clear differentiation of skills and focus will help us increase our footprint in the market and enhance coverage efficiency to best serve and support our customers in the region,” said Tan.
The CA Technologies Asia Pacific partner ecosystem includes partners in the Cloud, Service Assurance, Security, Virtualization and Service Automation, and Service Portfolio Management areas.
Ingram Micro Asia, Transition Systems have joined the program
Today, CA Technologies is also announcing the appointment of its new partners in Asean under this program.
Ingram Micro Asia and Transition Systems have become VADs for Singapore and Indonesia respectively, focusing on CA Technologies’ Virtualization and Service Automation, Service Assurance, and Security and Compliance product lines.
To create an ecosystem of partners highly skilled in CA Technologies solutions, Ingram Micro Asia is actively recruiting VARs and SIs, and enabling them through a comprehensive education, training and certification program. Ingram Micro Asia will also build sales prospecting tools, run awareness campaigns, support partner events and work closely with partners that can target specific verticals.

Transition Systems plans to target telecom and financial services customers in Indonesia. Besides holding customer workshops, it will recruit new resellers and train existing ones on CA Technologies solutions. These solutions will be wrapped around complementary offerings from other technology partners.
