Tough Corp Announces the Release of the New Honeywell 99EX Mobile Computer

Tough Corp, in conjunction with Honeywell Scanning & Mobility, has launched the new 99EX rugged Mobile Computer. Purpose built for transportation and logistics applications, the 99EX was designed to take mobile worker productivity to a new level while helping to reduce operating costs.

Honeywell’s Dolphin 99EX mobile computer provides user-friendly ergonomics, cutting-edge wireless technology, multi-functional data capture and extreme durability for front-line workers operating in both indoor and outdoor environments. The new device is Honeywell’s latest addition to their mobile computing family and continues the company’s legacy of quality and ruggedness while not compromising on functionality.

The reliable 99EX is IP67-rated and can withstand multiple 6 feet drops to concrete, ensuring years of trouble-free operation. The 99EX also incorporates a software-definable radio that allows on-the-fly switching between GSM, UMTS and CDMA networks, leading to improved network coverage and lower provisioning and deployment costs. The Honeywell 99EX’s micro SD expansion slot supports up to 32GB of memory and offers comprehensive voice and data communication capabilities, including Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11 b/g, and 3.75G HSPA network.
