LASER launches EB700 multimedia e-book reader

Sydney, Australia, April 15, 2011 – LASER Corporation, an IT and consumer electronics accessories company, today announced the EB700 7-inch multimedia e-book reader. The successor to LASER’s popular EB101 5-inch e-book, the EB700 comes preloaded with 200 free e-books for bookworms raring to read.

Featuring a 7-inch full colour Thin Film Transistor (TFT) ultra thin LCD screen with high resolution (800x480), the EB700 is a handy, portable multimedia e-book reader. With MP4 capabilities, the EB700 allows users to load content via Micro SD card or USB connection with a substantial 4GB of on board storage. Save and view photos, watch video and movies in full colour, as well as listening to music – even while reading. The EB700 is fully licensed and compatible, accommodating all e-book formats including Digital Rights Management (DRM) functionality to ensure access to supported content for playback.
