QuickBooks now available on Mac and iPad

For the first time in Australia, QuickBooks has been made available for Mac and iPad users. Reckon Limited has launched the specially designed version of QuickBooks Hosted that can be used on a range of platforms.
The QuickBooks Hosted Premium version will give Mac, iPad, Android and PC users the convenience of being able to manage their business finances online, on the platform they choose.
“Being able to access vital business management software online is opening up many possibilities for businesses. By making QuickBooks as readily available as possible, our users have greater flexibility to work how and when they need to,” said Gavin Dixon, Reckon’s Business Division CEO.
“With QuickBooks Hosted now on more platforms, businesses have access to critical financial data at their finger tips, improved sharing options and better security features.”
Reckon says with iPad sales exceeding 15 million earlier this year, it has highlighted the need to provide access to vital business management programs on mobile platforms. The QuickBooks Hosted Premium version has the same look and feel that over 400,000 registered QuickBooks desktop users in Australia have come accustomed to.
“The Premium version of QuickBooks Hosted cannot be beaten for functionality, flexibility and price. The software has features that suit small to large businesses, operates on almost any device and after the first year can be purchased by the month, helping businesses with cash flow,” says Dixon.
The QuickBooks Hosted Premium version incorporates core accounting functionality as well as advanced inventory management and payroll management; multi-currency; multi-user capability; automatic data back-ups; automatic software updates; and advanced activity based data security.
The QuickBooks Hosted Premium version is priced at $415 a year, and can be purchased for $38 a month thereafter.
